Questions
How does SkipSend decide?
SkipSend checks the domain against its list of known disposable domains, then looks up its MX records and compares those mail servers with the ones disposable services run. A new domain pointed at a known service is caught the first time anyone checks it, before it lands on any list.
Do you store what I check?
We don't save the email address. The part before the @ is dropped before the lookup. The domain becomes part of the result page's URL, so it shows up in our server logs and analytics like any other page visit.
Can I check a domain or an IP address?
Yes. Paste a bare domain like example.com, or the IP address of a mail server.
Does SkipSend run these domains or servers?
No. Results come from public DNS and WHOIS records and our list of known disposable services. To reach whoever runs a domain or server, look up its WHOIS record or contact the network that hosts it.
